I think that Terry should not ask his father because it only remind him about his horrible experience so the syndrome become worst. His dad will have more illusions and because of that, his dad health might decrease. If the syndrome comes more frequently, his dad's life will have many negative effect like low job quality and others might treat him difference. It also could put his dad in danger because it could come while his dad is driving so it would create accident and danger to people around him.
